    GETTING READY TO COOK BEFORE USING YOUR NEW LIFETIME® FUSION FUEL™ GRILL & PELLET SMOKER FOR THE FIRST TIME You should perform a first-use heat cleaning before using your smoker/grill for the first time. A first-use heat cleaning sterilizes the interior surfaces of the cook box by burning off any residue left behind from the manufacturing of the grill.
