Attention: Some SATA controllers do not support Plug & Play (mostly due to incorrect driver implementations). In this case should only be connected to or disconnected from the computer while the computer is off. Otherwise a system crash or data loss can be caused.
Attention: A new HDD must first be initialised, partitioned and formatted by the operation system to be displayed by the system.
Attention: Please await end of read/write operations before disconnecting the HDD to avoid data lost.
If the hard disc isn't recognised instantly by the operating system please check:
The LED shines blue for power and blinks purple for HDD Read/Write.
IB-366StU3+B is also working with computer/notebook with USB2.0/1.1 interfaces. The full transfer rate of USB3.0 can only be reached with USB3.0 connection. You can upgrade your computer/notebook with a USB3.0 PCI-card (eg ICY BOX IBAC604/605).
