OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FIRST USE • Remove any bags, protective foil and other packaging from the appliance before initial use. • Wipe down the exterior of the toaster with a damp cloth and thoroughly dry before use. IMPORTANT: When the toaster is plugged in and operating for the first time, there may be a slight burning odor as the heating elements warm up. -

HOW TO USE WARNING: Never operate the toaster without the Crumb Tray in place. Toasting Bread 1. Place the toaster on a flat surface and plug it into a power outlet. 2. Place slices of bread in the Toasting Slot. Make sure that multiple slices do not overlap. - Page 7 5. When toasting has finished, the Loading Lever will rapidly rise to the fully raised position, and both the Power Indicator light and the LED display will turn off. The toasted bread removed. Browning Levels The Browning Level Button regulates how much the bread is toasted - in other words, the color of the toast.
- Page 8 Reheating Bread If you want to reheat cold toasted bread, place slices of bread in the Bread Slot, press the Loading Lever down, and then press the Reheat Button. The Reheat Indicator Light will illuminate. When the reheat function has been selected, a short time cycle of approximately 33 seconds will warm up your toast without burning it.
