    Set up your device Insert the SIM card and battery Always switch the device off and disconnect the charger before removing the battery. Important: To prevent damage to the SIM card, always remove the battery before you insert or remove the card. To prevent the battery from coming loose, place the device so that the back cover is facing up.

    Insert the memory card Use only compatible MicroSD cards approved by Nokia for use with this device. Nokia uses approved industry standards for memory cards, but some brands may not be fully compatible with this device. Incompatible cards may damage the card and the device and corrupt data stored on the card.

    Replace the back cover. Keep the device facing down when replacing the cover. Make sure the cover is properly closed. Charge the battery Your battery has been partially charged at the factory. If the device indicates a low charge, do the following: Charge the battery using the charger Connect the charger to a wall outlet.

About the desktop The desktop is displayed when you switch on the device. It offers quick access to different features of your device.
