INTRODUCTION

Please refer to the user guide of the product for instructions on operation, care and
maintenance, including important safety information.
Modem Setup for Nokia 3650 will install the following components on your computer:
Nokia 3650 data and fax modem drivers which enable you to use your phone as a
modem in data and fax calls
Nokia Modem Options which enables you to set options for the data calls you make
Modem Options for Nokia 3650 runs on Windows 98/Me/2000/XP and supports the Bluetooth
DUN and FAX profile.

INSTALLING MODEM OPTIONS FOR NOKIA 3650

1. From the CD-ROM main menu, click Install and then click Install now. Click Modem
Options for Nokia 3650.exe.
2. Follow the instructions on the screen.
In the Connection Method Selection dialog box, you are prompted to select one or more of
the available connection methods:
infrared connection (provided that your computer has infrared capabilities), and
Bluetooth connection (provided that a Bluetooth card and the associated software are
installed on your PC).
If you do not have the CD Rom:
1. Download the installation file (Nokia_3650_Modem_Setup.exe).
2. Go to the directory where you downloaded the file and double-click it.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Note: You can only have one modem connection (over infrared or Bluetooth)
active at a time.
3. CONNECTING YOUR NOKIA 3650 TO YOUR PC
If you are using an infrared connection to connect your Nokia 3650 to the PC:
1. Ensure that an infrared driver is installed on your PC.
