WARNINGS

Read these instructions carefully and keep them for future use.
The toy requires 3 1.5V AA alkaline batteries. Batteries are not included in the pack.
For your child's safety:

• Plastic bags and other components which are not part of the toy (e.g. ties, fasteners, etc..) must be removed before use and kept out of the reach of children. Choking hazard.
• Check the toy regularly for signs of wear and damage and to ensure that it is assembled correctly. In the case of damage to any part of the product, do not use and keep it out of children's reach.
• Do not use this toy in any way not illustrated in the manual.
• Use this toy under adult supervision only.
• This product must only be assembled by an adult.
• Do not use the toy until it has been fully assembled and checked.
• This product is designed to be fastened only to portable cots/cradles made with fabric sides with a maximum diameter of 38mm. It is not intended for the use on wooden cots or with rigid sides.
• The product must only be fastened to the cot using the parts included in the pack; never attach laces or ties. Danger of suffocation.
• Check the toy regularly to ensure that it is securely fitted to the cot.
• To prevent possible injury by entanglement, remove this toy when the child starts trying to get up on its hands and knees in a crawling position.
• The panel must be attached to the lateral guide, between the shoulders and feet of the child.
• Remove the product before disassembling the portable cradle.

ASSEMBLY

For the assembly on a cot or cradle made of fabric, assemble the toy according to the indications:

1. Unscrew the knob on the backside of the panel until it stops, completely undo it.
2. Fit the panel to the side of the cot. Make sure the start buttons for the melodies and for the lighting effects are facing the inside of the cot

Fix the panel by turning the knob until it stops. A mechanical click and the presence of the green counterfoil confirm that the screw is perfectly tightened.
For both uses, cot and on the night table, always tighten the screw until it stops.

ON/OFF

To switch the product on, turn the wheel on the back. The lighting effects and the music turn on. Adjust the volume to the desired level.

HOW TO USE THE TOY

The product has two activation buttons. The one with the moon shape activates the three lighting modes LAMP, PROJECTOR or NIGHT LIGHT and a ROUND KEY WITH MUSICAL NOTE that activate the melodies.

SELECTION LIGHTING EFFECTS

Turning the wheel on the back, the product automatically turns on in the mode PROJECTOR, which activates the coloured star projection in the entire room. By repeatedly pressing the moon key, one of the 3 modes can be choose.
Press the first time to switch to the mode LAMP with soft projection effects. Press the second time to switch to the mode NIGHT LIGHT, in which only the moon key remains on.
Press the moon key again to turn off the lighting effects and switch to standby mode.
The reproduction of the lighting effects with automatic colour change takes about 30 minutes, then the product will switch to stand-by mode. Leaving the product in stand-by mode allows putting it back in function to calm down the child, when the sound sensor detects crying.
To stop/activate the lighting effects, press the moon button on the front side.
The effect of the projection is best in total darkness.

MELODY SELECTION

Using the ROUND KEY WITH MUSICAL NOTE, it is possible to turn off the music and then choose a melody in this order: Soft Rock melody, Jazz melody, Modern melody, New Age melody with nature sounds, 3 Classic melodies (Bach and Beethoven).
When turning on the product, the ROUND KEY WITH MUSICAL NOTE is not pressed, the complete reproduction cycle takes about 30 minutes.
The music cycle duration can vary depending on the choice of music.
After the cycle the products enters in stand-by. To calm down the child, it automatically starts again, when a sound similar to crying is detected.

REMOVING AND INSERTING NON RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES

• Batteries must only be fitted by an adult.
• To replace non-rechargeable batteries:
  1. Using a screwdriver, undo the 2 screws of the battery compartment and extract the box with the batteries.
  2. Remove the empty batteries and insert the new batteries with the correct polarity as indicated on the product.
  3. Replace the box, close the cover again and tighten the screw. Always keep batteries and tools out of the reach of children;
• Always remove empty batteries to avoid any possible liquid leaks that may damage it
• If the batteries are leaking liquid, replace them immediately, making sure to clean the battery compartment; thoroughly wash your hands in the case of contact with the liquid;
• Always remove the batteries if the product will not be used for a long period of time
• Only use alkaline batteries of the same type or equivalent to the type recommended for the correct functioning of this product
• Never mix alkaline, standard (zinc-carbon) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries
• Never mix new and old batteries
• Do not throw dead batteries in fire or leave them in the environment; they must be disposed of through waste sorting
• Do not short-circuit the power terminals
• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries: they might explode
• The use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended as the toy may not work properly
• When using rechargeable batteries, remove them from the toy before recharging and recharge only under the supervision of an adult
• Remove the batteries from the toy before disposing of it
• This product is not designed to be used with replaceable lithium batteries;

The crossed bin symbol on the appliance indicates that the product, at the end of its life, must be disposed of separately from domestic waste, either by taking it to a separate waste disposal site for electric and electronic appliances or by returning it to your dealer when you buy another similar appliance. The user is responsible for taking the appliance to a special waste disposal site at the end of its life. If the disused appliance is collected correctly as separate waste, it can be recycled, treated and disposed of ecologically; this avoids a negative impact on both the environment and health, and contributes towards the recycling of the product's materials. CARE AND MAINTENANCE

When not being used, always put the toy in a place protected by heat sources, dust and humidity.
The plastic panel is washable only on the surface using a slightly humid cloth.
The removable toy made of fabric is machine washable using a gentle cycle for delicate fabrics. It is recommended to rinse the toy thoroughly to eliminate all traces of detergent.
