Advance Split Ducted Unit
Possible Causes
Suction temperature sensor
is open or short circuit.
Faulty sensor.
Ambient temperature sensor
is open or short circuit.
Faulty sensor.
An over current can be
triggered by low voltage.
Check if the compressor is
operating within specified
pressure limits.
Faulty drive.
Measure the input voltage
to the drive. It should not be
more than 575VAC.
Check if the compressor is
operating within specified
pressure limits.
Verify proper airflow over
the heat-sink of the drive.
Check if the compressor is
operating within specified
pressure limits.
Check the mounting screws
on the drive, If the problem,
still persists replace the
drive.
Measure the input voltage to
the drive. It should not drop
below 295VAC.
Check if the compressor is
operating within specified
pressure limits.
VCD Drive trips lock because
of multi errors. Refer to
Ourdoor Board history to
diagnose more for related
error code
Check the AC power supply.
Check if the compressor is
operating within specified
pressure limits.
Remedies
Replace suction temperature
sensor.
Check the sensor resistance.
Replace ambient
temperature sensor.
Check the sensor resistance.
Rectify low voltage power
supply.
Find the root cause for not
operating the compressor in
the specified limits.
Replace drive if the problem
still persists.
Input voltage should be
rated value range.
Find the root cause for not
operating the compressor in
the specified limits.
Remove any obstructions.
Find the root cause for not
operating the compressor in
the specified limits.
Make sure they are tight.
Input voltage should be
rated value range.
Find the root cause for not
operating the compressor in
the specified limits.
Reset the power supply
Make correct supply
voltage.
Find the root cause for not
operating the compressor in
the specified limits or restart
the drive again.
