Sugar Glider
The sugar glider is a marsupial, meaning that it
carries its young in a pouch, just like the koala
and the kangaroo. It lives mainly in treetops,
gliding between trees by stretching out the
membranes that connects its front paws to its
back paws. Its name comes from its love of
fruit and other sweet foods. They can be raised
as pets as it is said that young sugar gliders
can form strong bonds with their owner.
