Ice Maker Error (Eb)

Check the wiring connection between the mainboard and the ice maker (Pins No. 7~ No. 10 on the CN5
connector of the mainboard), and repair the connection if it is broken.
Input 12V power to Pins No. 7 and No. 8 on CN5 connector, to check whether or not the ice maker can
rotate normally in both directions. If the ice maker does not rotate normally, replace the ice maker or
mainboard.

If the Hisense HRF266N6CSE refrigerator is not cooling despite having power, several factors could be causing the issue:

1. Power and Connection Issues: Ensure the power cord is plugged in properly and that the mainboard terminals are connected.
2. Mainboard Malfunction: If the mainboard is not outputting power correctly, it may need to be replaced.
3. Compressor Issues: If the compressor is not working, it should be checked and possibly replaced.
4. PTC Starter or Overload Protector Problems: If these components are faulty, they may need to be replaced.
5. Fan Motor Failure: If the fan motor is not working, it should be inspected and replaced if necessary.
6. Wiring Connection Issues: Loose or damaged wiring should be checked and repaired.
7. Door Seal and Alignment: If the freezer door or gasket has a gap, cold air may be escaping. Adjust the door or replace the gasket if needed.
8. Blocked Airflow: Ensure food is not placed too close to the sensors, as this can affect cooling performance.

Following these troubleshooting steps can help identify and resolve the cooling issue.

Our control valve for the water dispenser is not registering when pressure from the cup is removed, therefore it continues to spill water when there is no pressure from a cup.

A possible cause of the control valve malfunction in the Hisense HRF266N6CSE water dispenser could be high water pressure, which may cause leaks or improper operation. Additionally, impurities in the water supply could cause the valve to stick, preventing proper water flow. If the water filter is clogged or not properly installed, it may also affect the valve’s function. Checking for leaks, flushing the water system, and ensuring the filter is correctly inserted may help resolve the issue.
