The supplied AC adaptor is suitable for use on AC main supplies of 100-240V should only be connected to a mains supply within these parameters.
In a concern of saving energy, when playback has reached to the end or listening volume is set at a very low level and no control is operated on the device for a period of 15 minutes, the unit will automatically switch to Standby mode.

- The AC adaptor included with this unit is for its use only. Do not use it with other equipment.
- Turn off the unit before unplugging the AC adaptor from the unit so as to avoid the unit being damaged.
- When the unit is not going to be used for long time, disconnect the AC adaptor from the AC outlet.
- AC adaptor is used as the disconnect device. It shall remain readily operable and should not be obstructed during intended use. To be completely disconnected the apparatus from supply mains, the AC adaptor of the apparatus shall be disconnected from the mains socket outlet completely.
- Never use an AC adaptor that is damaged, route power lead in a safe manner and make sure it is not subjected to trapping or pinching. If the power lead is damaged refer to a qualified service agent.
TURNING ON/OFF THE UNIT
- To press the POWER button, then press STANDBY/ON button to turn the unit ON.
- To power off the unit, press the STANDBY/ON button, then press the POWER button.
SELECTING FUNCTION
The function (FM/ CD/ USB/ PHONO/ BLUETOOTH/ AUX/ DAB) is selected by pressing MODE button repeatedly.
ADJUSTING VOLUME
To increase or decrease the sound level, rotate VOLUME clockwise or anti-clockwise.
SETTING THE TIME AND DATE
The first time you listen to DAB radio, the time and date of your product will synchronised automatically to that broadcast by the DAB service in 24 hours mode, which is in line with daylight saving, so there is no need to set the time and date manually.
If you do wish to set the time and date manually, turn on the radio and follow the steps as below:
- Press and hold the MENU/INFO button in DAB or FM mode.
- Rotate the TUNING knob to scroll to <System>. Press ENTER button to enter this option.
- Rotate the TUNING knob to scroll to <Time>, Press ENTER button to enter this option, then <Set Time/Date> is displayed, press ENTER again to enter this option.
- <Set time> is displayed and the hour digits will flash. Use the TUNING knob to set the hour. Press the ENTER button to confirm. Then the minute digits will flash. Use the TUNING knob to set the minutes. Press the ENTER button to confirm.
- <Set date> is displayed and the day will flash. Use the TUNING knob and ENTER button to set the day, month and year.
When you confirm the date. "Time Saved" is displayed and the display returns to <Set Time/Date >.
You can use TUNING knob and ENTER button to set followings:
- SET TIME FORMAT: 12/24 hour clock display;
- SET DATE FORMAT: DD-MM-YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY.
- AUTO UPDATE: Auto update the time from the DAB signal, FM signal, ANY (DAB or FM signal) or no update.
Note: When do the setting in the menu, press the MENU button to return back to previous step.
LISTEN TO DAB/DAB+ RADIO
- When the unit is on, press MODE button to select the DAB mode until "DAB" appears on display.
- The unit will start automatic scan for DAB/DAB+ stations if it's the first time to use. The display will change to "Scanning".
- When the scan is complete, the unit will select the first available station and start to play automatically. Stations will be listed in numerical and then alphabetical order by default.
Note: When the DAB/DAB+ radio station list is stored, it will not search automatically again.
Press SCAN button to search and list station. - Rotate TUNING to select through the list of stations.
- When the desired station is displayed, press the ENTER button to confirm. There will be a short delay while your radio tunes to your selected station.
Note:
- If no broadcasts are found by DAB/DAB+ scan, "No DAB Station" appears in the display.
- For a better reception, extend the telescopic antenna or do the full scan again in another place.
- During the search operation, the sound level is automatically muted.
LISTENING TO FM RADIO
When the unit is on, press MODE button to select the FM mode until "FM" appears on display.
Manual search
Choose your radio station by TUNING knob or press
button.
Automatic search
Long press PREV/NEXT button, the radio will automatically search a station upward or downward and stop at a strong station.
PRESET STATIONS
This unit can store 20 FM and 20 DAB/DAB+ stations.
- Repeatedly press MODE button to select FM or DAB/DAB+ mode.
- Select a radio station.
- Press and hold PRESET button to enter preset store mode.
- Use TUNING knob or
to select a channel.
Note: If you choose a station that hasn't been allocated, "Empty" will be displayed. If the station has been allocated before, the frequency will be showed. - Press ENTER button to save it. Or the selected station will be saved automatically after a few seconds if no further operation. "Stored" will be displayed.
- Repeat step 1-5 to store other stations.
LISTENING TO RADIO PRESETS
- Press MODE button to select FM or DAB/DAB+ band.
- Press PRESET button, and then press
button to select your desire station. - Press ENTER button to confirm your selection.
SETTING THE ALARM AND THE ALARM MODE
- Press MENU/INFO button in DAB or FM mode.
- Rotate the TUNING knob to scroll to <System>. Press ENTER button to enter this option. Rotate the TUNING knob to scroll to <Alarm>, Press ENTER button to enter this option. Or, press ALARM button in STANDBY mode.
- Rotate the TUNING knob to scroll between <Alarm 1 Setup> and <Alarm 2 Setup>.
- Press ENTER button to select the <Alarm 1 set up>.
- The hour digits will flash. Use the TUNING knob to set the hour. Press the ENTER button to confirm. Then the minute digits will flash. Use the TUNING knob to set the minutes. Press the ENTER button to confirm.
- Rotate TUNING knob to select one of the duration of alarm: 15-30-45-60-90. Press ENTER to confirm. When the duration of alarm reach, the alarm will stop although you do not press STANDBY/ON button to STOP the alarm.
- Rotate TUNING knob to select the source of wake up by Buzzer, DAB or FM. Press ENTER button to confirm.
Noted: If you select the source of wake up by buzzer, it will not appear this selection. - Rotate TUNING knob to specify one of the following alarm frequency options: "Daily", "Once", "Weekends" and "Weekdays". Press ENTER button to confirm. Then adjust the volume level.
Note: If you select "Once", you will be prompted to set the date for your alarm. - The alarm status will be showed. Rotate TUNING knob to choose on/off the alarm, press ENTER To confirm. "Alarm Saved" will be displayed.
- Repeat step 1-9 to store Alarm 2.
Note:
- Preset the station before you select the wake up source by preset stations.
- If you wake up with last radio, select your desire station, then press STANDBY/ON button to turn off the radio before alarm time reaches. For the station selecting, please refer to "Listen to DAB/DAB+ radio" and "Listen to FM radio".
STOPPING THE ALARM
- Alarm repetition
Press SCAN. The alarm stops and will sound again 9 minutes later. - Alarm Stop
Press STANDBY/ON to stop the Alarm.
Note:
- If you select the alarm frequency by "Once", the alarm will not sound again.
- If you select the alarm frequency by "Daily", the alarm will sound again.
- If you select the alarm frequency by "Weekend", the alarm will sound again at each weekend.
- If you select the alarm frequency by "Weekdays", the alarm will sound again except weekend.
- Alarm Cancellation
Please refer to 1-8 steps of "SETTING THE ALARM AND THE ALARM MODE", then rotate TUNING knob to choose <off>, press ENTER to confirm. "Alarm Saved" will be displayed.
SLEEP FUNCTION
- When the unit on. Press MENU/INFO, then rotate the TUNING knob to select <System>, press ENTER to enter this option.
- Rotate TUNING knob to select <Sleep>, Press ENTER button to enter this option.
- Rotate TUNING knob to select Sleep off-15-30-45-60-90 minutes of listening.
- Press ENTER to confirm.
LISTENING TO THE CD DISC/MP3
- When the unit is on, press CD/USB button or MODE button to select the CD mode until "CD" appears on display.
- Press OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc tray. Display shows "OPEN", Insert a disc with label side facing up. Press OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the disc tray.
- The display will show "CD--READING" for a few seconds, then playback starts automatically.
- Select desired track with PREV button / NEXT button.
- Press PLAY to suspend momentarily the track playback. Press PLAY again to resume playback.
- Press STOP button to stop the playback.
REPEAT PLAYBACK
Repeatedly press REPEAT button to select one of the following playback modes. Track Repeat one, Repeat Album and Repeat All.
RANDOM PLAYBACK
Press the RANDOM button to play randomly, the "Random" will show on the display. Press the RANDOM button again to cancel the random.
USB PLAYBACK
- Connect a USB device containing MP3 files or MP3 player to the USB port.
- When the unit is on, press CD/USB button or MODE button to select the USB mode until USB indicator appears on display.
- Adjust the volume to the desired level.
- Select desired track with PREV button / NEXT button.
- Press PLAY to suspend momentarily the track playback. Press PLAY again to resume playback.
- Press STOP button to stop the playback.
Repeat playback
Repeatedly press REPEAT button to select one of the following playback modes. Track Repeat one, Repeat Album, Repeat All.
Random playback
Press the RANDOM button to play randomly, Press the RANDOM button again to cancel the random.
Removing the USB device
Please be sure to stop playback and turn the unit OFF before removing the USB device to avoid damaging the USB and system.
Note:
- There are many USB devices in the market. We cannot guarantee to support all different models. Please try another USB device if yours is not supported.
- The unit might not support all the multimedia files stored in USB because it includes some special playback procedure which might not be compatible with the procedure of this unit.
LISTENING TO THE PHONO
- When the unit is on, press MODE button to select the phono mode until PHONO indicator appears on display.
- Remove the stylus cover from the stylus and release the Tone arm rest.
- Place a record on the turntable platter and select the desired speed (33/45/78) according to the record.
NOTE: If you are playing 45RPM singles, place the 45 RPM adapter on the center spindle. - Push up the lift lever to raise the tone arm and gently move the tone arm to the desired position onto the record, Push down the lift lever, move the tone arm slowly onto the record to start playing the record.
- Adjust the volume control to your desired level.
- If the AUTO STOP ON/OFF Switch is turned ON, the record will stop automatically when playback ends. If Auto Stop switch is turned OFF, record will NOT stop automatically when playback ends.
Remark: Certain types of records may have an auto-stop area outside the preset limit, so the turntable may stop before the last track finishes. If this occurs, set the AUTO-STOP switch to the "OFF" position. This allows the record to play to the end, but please note that it will not stop automatically. You must manually raise the tone arm and place it back in the rest and then turn off the power to prevent the turntable from spinning.

Do not turn or stop the Turntable platter manually. Moving or jarring the Turntable platter without securing the Tone Arm Clamp could cause damage to the Tone Arm or Stylus.
CONNECTING AUXILIARY SOURCE
- Connect your auxiliary source (e.g. mp3 player) to the AUX IN jack (3.5mm) in front of unit. (cable not included).
- Press MODE button repeatedly to select AUX mode until "AUX" indicator appear on display.
- Start playback from your auxiliary source.
- Adjust the volume to desired level.
- To stop playback, disconnect your auxiliary source from the AUX IN jack.

Pairing a Bluetooth Device
- Press MODE button repeatedly to select BLUETOOTH mode until "Bluetooth" appear on display.
- On the Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and select "MT-115DAB" from the Device List. (Refer to the user manual of the device to be connected for detailed operations.) You will hear an indication voice when pairing is successful.
Tip: If you want to connect your Bluetooth speaker to another Bluetooth audio device, you need to disconnect current device first and follow the steps above to make a new connection.
- On some devices such as computers, once paired you must select the unit from the Bluetooth menu and choose "Use as Audio Device (stereo)" or similar.
- Pairing remains intact when the unit and/or your Bluetooth device is taken out of communication range. An active connection will be re-established when your Bluetooth device returns within range.
- When the unit is turned on again, it will automatically try to reconnect with the most recently paired Bluetooth device.
Using a Bluetooth Device
- With a unit paired (see previous section),operate your Bluetooth device and its sound will be heard through the MT-115DAB's speakers.
- Press the PLAY button to pause playback. Press again to resume playback.
- Select desired track with PREV button / NEXT button.
- Adjust the volume using the Volume buttons. You can also adjust the volume on the device to which you are paired.
RECORDING THE CD/MP3
- Connect the USB device to the USB port (Make sure the USB device have enough space to save the encoding).
- Follow procedures 1 to 6 in LISTENING TO THECD DISC /MP3 section. Press the USB REC button, the "REC ONE" icon appears in display.
- Press PREV button / NEXT button to choose ONE (single CD song recording), FOLDER (MP3 disc only), ALL (whole CD recording).
- Single CD song recording:
<A> Choose "ONE" icon appears on display, press the USB REC button to confirm the to record the current song, the display will show "Please wait..." for few seconds, and then the "REC" icon will show on display and flashes.
<B> Press STOP button to stop encoding or will stop automatically when the song finish, the display will show "End recording". - Whole CD recording:
<A> Choose "ALL" icon appears on display, press the USB REC button to confirm to record the whole disc, the display will show "Please wait..." for few seconds, and then the "REC" icon will appear and flashes.
<B> Press STOP button to stop encoding or will stop automatically when the CD song finish, the display will show "End recording". - Folder recording (MP3):
<A> Choose "FOLD" icon appears on display, press the USB REC button to confirm the to record the current song, the display will show "Please wait..." for few seconds, and then the "REC" icon will show on display and flashes.
<B> Press STOP button to stop encoding or will stop automatically when the song finish, the display will show "End recording".
- To listen the recording, repeatedly press CD/USB button or MODE button to select the USB mode until USB indicator appear on display, and press PREV button / NEXT button to find the last file in the USB, then the playback starts automatically.

- To listen the recording, repeatedly press CD/USB button or MODE button to select the USB mode until USB indicator appear on display, and press PREV button / NEXT button to find the last file in the USB, then the playback starts automatically.

HEADPHONE VOLUME WARNING
Connect earphones with the volume set low and increase it if required. Prolonged listening through some earphones at high volume settings can result in hearing damage. When headphones/earphones are connected, no sound will be emitted from the unit's speaker.

To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.
USING THE RCA LINE OUT JACK
Connect one end of audio cable (cable not included) to the LINE OUT jack on the rear of unit and other end of cable connect to the RCA IN jack or AUX IN jack of your other audio drive equipment.
- Turn on your audio drive equipment.
- Select one of your favorite mode (PHONO, USB, AUX IN) and start your mode playback.

- Raise the Tone Arm.
To remove the old stylus needle, Place a screwdriver at the tip of the stylus and push downward as shown in direction "A". - Remove the stylus by pulling the stylus forward and pushing downward.
Installing the Stylus

- Hold the tip of the stylus and insert the stylus by pressing as shown in direction "B".
- Push the stylus upward as in direction "C" until the stylus locks into the tip position.
- When opening or closing the turntable cover, handle it gently, gripping it either at the center or at each side.
- Do not touch the needle tip with your fingers; avoid bumping the needle against the turntable platter or record edge.
- Frequently clean the needle tip-use a soft brush in a "back-to-front' motion only.
- If you must use a needle cleaning fluid, use very sparingly.
- Gently wipe the dust cover and turntable housing with a soft cloth. Use only a small amount of mild detergent to clean the turntable and dust cover.
- Never apply harsh chemicals or solvents to any part of the turntable system.
Repeatedly press MENU/INFO button to review some unit settings (e. g. time, date) or available information (e. g. radio text, name) for the station you are listening.
Navigating the setup menu.
- In FM or DAB mode, press MENU/INFO to enter into setup menu.
- Rotate TUNING knob to scroll to one of the available options.
- Press ENTER button to enter related setup.
FULL SCAN
This function allows you to automatically scan and create a list of receivable DAB/DAB+ broadcasts.
MANUAL (Manual Tune)
This function can be used to assist the positioning of the antenna or the unit to obtain the optimum reception for a specific channel or frequency.
DRC (Dynamic range compression)
DRC can make quieter sounds easier to hear when the unit is used in a noisy environment.
Rotate TUNING button to select your desire DRC level: off, low, high.
- DRC off- no compression. This is the default setting.
- DRC low- medium compression.
- DRC high- maximum compression.
Note:
- DRC is effective only in dynamic range compression broadcast.
- When you adjusted the DRC level, volume can be heard more loudly.
PRUNE (remove stations that are listed but unavailable)
Remove stations that are listed but unavailable. This function can remove all invalid stations indicated in the station list with a "?" in front of the station name.
SYSTEM
To select the system setting options: Sleep, Alarm, Time, Language, Factory Reset, Software Upgrade, SW version.

You can enter the sleep function. - Alarm
You can enter the alarm function. - Time
You can adjust the time and date setting. - Language
To select the desired language of the unit's menu. - Factory Reset
To clear all users defined settings. When you enter into reset mode, rotate TUNING knob to select "Yes", press ENTER button to confirm to restore to factory default settings. Rotate TUNING knob to select "No", press ENTER to cancel this selection. - SW version
To display the current software version.
Scan setting
Strong stations: The automatic search only locates at strong stations. All stations: The automatic search locates at any available station.
Audio setting
To select between "Stereo or mono" and "Forced mono" for the FM radio.
System
Please refer to the DAB/DAB+ system setup mode.

MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
Be sure to turn the unit off and disconnect the AC adaptor before maintaining the unit.
- Use a soft, dry, clean cloth. Regularly dust the vents at the back or sides.
- Using solvents, abrasive or alcohol-based products risks damaging the appliance.
- If an object or liquid enters inside the appliance, unplug it immediately and have it checked by an authorized engineer.
Note on disc
- Do not use irregular shape CDs (example: heart-shaped, octagonal ones). It may result in malfunctions.
- Do not place more than one disc in the disc compartment.
- Do not try to open the disc compartment during playing.
- If there is a scratch, dirt or fingerprints on the disc, it may cause tracking error. Before playing, clean the disc with a cleaning cloth. Wipe the disc from the center out. Don't store discs in places with high temperatures or high humidity, they can become warped. After playing, store the disc in its case.
