ENGLISH
♦ Check the state of the power cord. Damaged or tangled
cables increase the risk of electric shock.
♦ Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
♦ Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
♦ If any of the appliance casings breaks, immediately
disconnect the appliance from the mains to prevent the
possibility of an electric shock.
♦ Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if
there are visible signs of damage.
♦ The appliance is not suitable for outdoor use.
♦ Do not place the appliance on hot surfaces, such as
cooking plates, gas burners, ovens or similar.
♦ Place the appliance on a horizontal, flat, stable surface,
suitable for withstanding high temperatures and away
from other heat sources and contact with water.
♦ CAUTION: In order to prevent overheating do not cover
the appliance.
This symbol means that surface could get hot
during the use.
Use and care:
♦ Fully extend the appliance's power cable before each
use.
♦ Do not use the appliance if the tray is not properly fitted
underneath the heating element.
♦ Do not use the appliance if its accessories are not
properly fitted.
♦ Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch does not
work.
♦ Do not move or transport the appliance while in use.
♦ Do not turn the appliance over while it is in use or
connected to the mains.
♦ Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in
use and before undertaking any cleaning task.
♦ Store this appliance out of reach of children and/or
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities or lack of experience and knowledge.
♦ Do not store the appliance if it is still hot.
♦ Never leave the appliance connected and unattended if
is not in use. This saves energy and prolongs the life of
the appliance.
Service:
♦ Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use
renders the guarantee and the manufacturer's liability
null and void.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Before use:

♦ Make sure that all products' packaging has been
removed.
♦ Before using this product for the first time, it is advisable
to test it without bread.
♦ Before using the product for the first time, clean the
parts that will come into contact with food in the manner
described in the cleaning section.
♦ Some parts of the appliance have been lightly greased.
Consequently, the first time the appliance is used a light
smoke may be detected. After a short time, this smoke
will disappear.
Use (without bun warmer):
♦ Extend the cable completely before plugging it in.
♦ Connect the appliance to the mains.
♦ Put the slice/slices of bread into the appliance.
♦ You can use four slots or only two, using both or only
one lever (I).
♦ Use the select buttons (D1 and/or D2) to reach the de-
sired toasting level. (that you will see on LCD Display).
♦ Start the appliance by sliding the loading lever (I) down
until a "click" is heard (you can use one or both levers (I).
♦ After the selected toasting time the appliance will switch
off automatically.
Use (WITH BUN WARMER):
♦ Extend the cable completely before plugging it in.
♦ Prepare Bun Warmer (J), to put over the toaster Slots.
