NAD AV 713 SURROUND SOUND RECEIVER NOTES ON INSTALLATION. Your AV 713 should be placed on a firm, level sur- face. Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight, near sources of heat and damp or in poorly ventilated posi- tions.

1. POWER The green standby indicator shows that power is being supplied to the AV 713, but the system is cur- rently off. Pressing the power switch turns the unit on and supplies power to the switched AC outlets. The display panel will indicate AV 713’s current settings.

Display Panel. It is stored in the AV 713’s memory and will be automati- cally recalled each time the unit is switched on. This function can be altered only when the AV 713 is in DOLBY PRO-LOGIC Mode.
TUNER. 8. AM and FM INPUT Press the AM or FM button to switch the AV 713 to the required tuner operation. The Display Panel shows the frequency of the tuned station and which Preset and Preset bank (if any) is selected.
Display Panel. The AV 713 only pages through Presets that are tuned to stations and will skip past empty Presets. CLEARING PRESETS. First select the Preset station. Hold down the MEM- ORY button and press the FM MUTE/MODE button.

HALL REMOTE CONTROL The RC713 Remote Control handles all the key functions of the AV 713 and has additional controls to remotely operate NAD Cassette and CD machines. It will operate up to a distance of 16ft (5m). The subsidiary mode, and set-up functions have black buttons.
