Device Driver Installation

To install drivers for the NuPRO-850, refer to the installation infor-
mation in this chapter. Basic driver installation information for
Windows XP/2000 is outlined in this section. The drivers are
located in the following directories of the CD-Rom:
Chipset driver
VGA driver
LAN driver
Audio driver
4.1 Intel® 855GME/6300ESB Chipset
This section describes the installation procedure for the Intel®
855GME/6300ESB
2000/XP.

System Requirements

One of the following operating systems must be fully installed on
the system before installing any other driver, utilities, or software:
Windows® 2000
Windows® XP
Intel® Chipset Software Installation Utility
This section describes how to install the Intel® Chipset Software
Installation Utility on a system running Windows 2000/XP.
1. Check the System Requirements. Windows 2000/XP
must be fully installed and running on the system prior to
running this software.
2. Close any running applications.
3. Place the ADLINK CD into the CD-ROM drive. Run
infinst_enu6011002.exe under
X:\NuPRO\NuPRO-860\chipset, where X is the CD drive
letter.
