• Do not install the components in locations where they might cause
interference to the operation of the vehicle controls.
• If it is necessary to penetrate the firewall, check opposite side for
cable clearance before drilling and use a grommet to protect the
cable where it passes through.

Recommended Tools

The following tools are recommended for proper installation of your Car
Kit.
• Portable Drill
• Hammer
• Center Punch
• Phillips #2 Screwdriver

Junction Box Installation

In most vehicles, the best location for mounting the junction box is just
under the dash, or under the front seat. It must be protected from dirt and
moisture, and must be afforded adequate space for cooling. There must
also be sufficient space to allow for the connection of accessories.
