Gear VR Setup Wizard
1 You will now begin the 18-step software installation process by
pressing next on the software installation intro screen.
Agree to the terms and conditions and press next to continue into the

Gear VR setup wizard.
3 The Gear VR setup wizard will begin the download process and will
take 2-4 minutes to download depending on your network speed.
The Gear VR software wizard is completed and you will now be
asked to create an Oculus Account.
Oculus Account Setup
4 Almost there. Now it is time to create an Oculus account. Enter your
email address and a password that is at least 8 characters long. Click
on Create Account.
5 Choose an Oculus ID that you can easily remember. It will be used to
identify you when you log in. Press Continue.
6 Type in your first name and then your last name. Press Continue.
Create an Oculus PIN.

8 You will need to verify the email address by logging in to your email
and clicking on the verification link sent to you by the Oculus team.
9 You can add a payment method at this point which will allow you to
make purchases.
Congratulations, you have now completed your Oculus account set up.

11 Now it is time to set up your controller. Follow the onscreen
instructions and click Pair.
12 Select if you are right or left handed and click Next.
13 In this section, you can edit your Oculus profile and connect with your
Facebook friends in VR. Click Get Started to begin.
Upload an Oculus Profile Picture if you'd like or click Skip.

15 Customize your privacy settings if desired and click Continue.
16 Now you can sync your Facebook account to
connect with friends. Click Find Friends Now to
get started or Skip to continue to the Oculus store.
Gear VR Video Tutorial
17 Take a few minutes to go through the tutorial to
familiarize yourself with the multiple touch
functions and buttons on your Gear VR and
controller.
Once complete, you can explore the basic apps

installed during setup and download more from
the store.
Read and follow all warnings and instructions included with the Gear VR before use. Gear VR should be adjusted for each user. Not for use by children under 13. Remain seated or stationary whe using the Gear VR. Stop use if you experience any
