1. Install 2 AA batteries into the TX191 sensor according to
polarity markings. The red LED light will flash when
transmitting.
2. Install batteries and/or AC adapter into station.
3. After 5 minutes, place sensor outside in a shaded
location.
• Mount the outdoor sensor on a north-facing wall or in any
well shaded area. Under an eave or deck rail is preferred.
• The maximum transmitting range to the wireless
thermometer is over 200 feet (60 meters) in open air, not
including walls.
Outdoor Range: -30°F to 140°F (-34.4°C to + 60°C)
Transmission: 200 feet (60 meters) open air.
