The IDM100 Medical Tablet measures the systolic blood pressure (mmHg), diastolic blood pressure (mmHg), pulse (bpm), MAP (mean arterial pressure – a calculated reading that yields an approximate value in mmHg), as well as max cuff pressure (maximum pressure during measurement).

The required Oregon Scientific BAR 228 is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE) device that measures atmospheric conditions and transmits that data to the IDM100 Medical Tablet for BTPS correction. The BAR 228 eliminates the need for manual measurement and entry of atmospheric conditions data for BTPS correction. Perform manual measurement and entry of BTPS only if the BAR 228 is unavailable.
Determine BTPS per the following requirements: Check the Barometric Pressure, Temperature, and Humidity of the IDM100 Medical Tablet’s location and enter these values into the BTPS fields.
