SAFETY PRECAUTIONS 2.1.
2.2. LEAKAGE CURRENT COLD CHECK 1. Unplug the AC cord and connect a jumper between the two prongs on the plug. 2. Measure the resistance value, with an ohmmeter, between the jumpered AC plug and each exposed metallic cabinet part on the equipment such as screwheads, connectors, control shafts, etc.
3. PREVENTION OF ELECTRO STATIC DISCHARGE (ESD) TO ELECTROSTATICALLY SENSITIVE (ES) DEVICES Some semiconductor (solid state) devices can be damaged easily by static electricity. Such components commonly are called Electrostatically Sensitive (ES) Devices. Examples of typical ES devices are integrated circuits and some field-effect transistors and semiconductor "chip" components.
7. Immediately before removing the protective material from the leads of a replacement ES device, touch the protective material to the chassis or circuit assembly into which the device will be installed. CAUTION : Be sure no power is applied to the chassis or circuit, and observe all other safety precautions.

Replacement batteries must be of same type and manufacture. They must be fitted in the same manner and location as the original battery, with the correct polarity contacts observed. Do not attempt to re-charge the old battery or re-use it for any other purpose.
6. SERVICE NOTES 6.1. WHEN REPLACING THE MAIN C.B.A. After replacing the MAIN C.B.A., be sure to achieve adjustment. The adjustment instruction is available at “software download” on the “CS-Web from AVC” web- site in “TSN system”, together with Maintenance software. 6.2.

2. Put the insulation tube onto the lead part of Resistor (ERG5SJ102: /5W). (an equivalent type of resistor may be used.) 3. Put the resistor between both terminals of capacitor on FLASH TOP C.B.A. for approx. 5 seconds. 4. After discharging, confirm that the capacitor voltage is lower than 10V using a voltmeter.
It need the connection between the PC and this unit with USB cable. The adjustment instruction is available at "Software download" on the CS-Web from AVC" web-site in "TSN System", together with maintenance software. 7.1.
