2.3.3 Stationary Jam

The machine will identify a stationary jam if any of the following sensors does not go off within a specific period of
time after it has gone on.
The following sensors are used to check for jams:

2.3.4 Stationary Jam and Cover Open Jam at Power-On

The machine uses various sensors to check for residual paper when the power is turned on or when its cover is
opened. The presence of paper will cause the machine to assume the presence of a jam.
