LaVie purification system user manual 2. WORKING PRINCIPLE LaVie uses chlorine contained in tap water as a Trojan horse. LEDs emit UVA rays on a transparent, sealed glass bottle and a photolysis reaction is initiated. All the chlorine molecules (OCl ) react and give rise to strong oxidizing radicals, a hundred times more oxidative than chlorine itself.

Before any cleaning operation, unplug the DC adapter. • Never plunge LaVie case, the DC adapter or the cord into water or any other liquid. • Clean the outside parts of the LaVie case and bottle using a slightly damp sponge.
3. Always connect the printer to an outlet with a ground connection to avoid the danger of fire or electrical shock in case of an electric short. 4. When powering on, red flashes signal incompatibility between LaVie case and adapter used. Use only the DC adapter that came with your LaVie product.
Use only cold or warm water (max. temperature= 104°F/40°C; min. temperature = 34°F/1°C). DO NOT USE HOT WATER. • Use LaVie water purifier only with the bottle provided. • The appliance is designed for use only in room temperatures between 40°F and 95°F (5°C and 35°C).
Do not look directly at the light from LEDs for a prolonged time (max. 10 minutes). e. LaVie restrictions on use LaVie technology does not use any filter.
