(Not metal) This product or some parts of this product will be heavy. Please use an assistant when lifting. Never drag or push the pieces across a hard or stone floor as this will cause damage to the joints.
- Page 3 Important for Ottoman and other gas lift beds Note: The bed base is in the upright position when first assembled as the gas lifts are fully extended during shipment for safety. After assembly a firm downward push will be required to overcome any resisitance in the gas lifts as these may initially stick.

Fit the two angle brackets (10) screwing the bolts (A), spring washers (B) & flat washers (C) into the threaded inserts in each corner of the footboard (2) & side rails (3&4). 100% Make certain the bed is squared up as shown in the diagram then tighten...
- Page 10 For Double and King Size The fitting position for the cross bar (6) is clearly labeled. Pass bar between the first & second slat on the metal slat frame (5). Carefully open the frame. iii) Using four sets of bolts (J) fit the m etal connection plates (K) into the threaded inserts on top of the frame.
- Page 11 Hold the support bars Un-tie the mechanism forward. and remove the transit block. Slat Frame Support Bar 3&4 iii) With help from your assistant, lift the slat frame (5) onto slat frame support bars aligning first set of holes on slat frame with first set of holes in support bars (nearest to headboard).
- Page 12 Super King Double & King During this next step, the assistant should lift up the slat frame and hold it securely. On side rails (3&4) slide gas-lift piston stems (X) onto the axles (Y) then fit the flange lock-nuts (H). SMALL GAP Do not overtighten the nuts (H), there should be a small gap so (X) can rotate freely, this is important.
- Page 13 Note: Be very careful what you store under the bed - the top of an item, like a suitcase or a box, must not touch the slats or the y may be damaged. Maximum storage height is 265mm. 1 Before lifting the slat frame, place your mattress on top of the slats as without a mattress in place the speed of movement is quick and may cause injury so be careful.

Page 14: General Care And Maintenance
Please dispose of all packaging safely. General Care & Maintenance Wipe clean with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid the use of all household cleaners and abrasives. Periodically check all screw & fixings to ensure they are secure. When moving your product, carefully lift into place. Never drag or push the product across the floor as this will cause damage to the joints.
