QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE - CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
Miranti, Bolero, Alenti, Calypso
Clean and disinfect daily.
Clean and disinfect before next patient.
Accessories needed:
•
Protective gloves
•
Protective glasses
•
Spray bottle with disinfectant (if integrated
disinfection system is not available)
•
Spray bottle (or shower handle) with water
•
Cloths - wet and dry
•
Disposable towels
•
Soft-bristled brush
•
Long-handled, soft-bristled brush
Removing visual residue

Miranti: Remove headrest, thigh support cushion,
patient security grip and safety belts.
Bolero: Remove mattress and safety belts.
Alenti: Remove backrest and safety belt.
Calypso: Remove seats, seat insert, backrest and
safety belt.
Place the accessories at the bottom of the bath tub.
NOTE
The cleaning and disinfection procedure is illustrated with Miranti and an integrated disinfection
system as an example.
WARNING
To avoid eye and skin damage, always use protective glasses and gloves. If contact occurs rinse with
plenty of water. If eyes or skin becomes irritated, contact a physician. Always read the Instructions for
Use and the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) of the disinfectant.
To prevent cross-contamination, always follow the disinfection instructions in the Instructions for Use.
To avoid eye or skin irritation, never disinfect in the presence of a patient.

Position the hygiene lift over the bathtub
and lower it.

Clean from visible residue using a cloth soaked in water or by
showering with water and scrubbing with a brush. Clean the
hygiene lift from the top and move downwards.
Clean all removed parts.
