Details
a Open the purge valves.
b Turn on the pump flow.
c Turn off the pump flow once the lines are purged.
d Close the purge valves.
Under Sipper Settings, click Flush Now.
a If you have two controlling computers (one for the mass spec (MS)
and one for RapidFire), on the MS computer, double-click on the
RapidFire Communicator desktop icon.
b Start the Data Acquisition program.
c Turn on the detector.
d Calibrate the mass spec.
e Create or edit a method settings that are appropriate for your
analysis.
f Save the method.
