7 Cleaning and servicing
7.1 Cleaning products
Find out here which cleaning
products are suitable for your appli-
ance.
ATTENTION!
Using unsuitable cleaning agents or
incorrect cleaning may damage the
appliance.
Do not use cleaning agents con-

Do not use sharp, pointed or metal

objects.
Do not use abrasive cloths or

cleaning agents.
7.2 Descaling the appliance
Tap water can cause deposits to
build up in the pump and on plastic
parts.
Notes
¡ Descale the appliance whenever
you have harvested your plants in
their entirety (after approx.
3-5 months).
¡ You can descale the device either
using lemon juice or specially de-
veloped descaling tablets.
Requirements
¡ There are no plant capsules in the
plant tray.
¡ The device is fully assembled, a
height module is inserted and the
light unit fitted.
Prepare the descaling solution. Se-

lect one of the following options:
Dissolve two teaspoons of citric

acid in 1 litre of warm water at
approx. 50 °C.
Dissolve a descaling tablet in
‒
1 litre of lukewarm water and
wait 5 minutes.

Touch the touch button for

15 seconds until the light unit
lights up green.

Notes
¡ If not all deposits have dissolved,
leave the descaling solution to
work for at least 2 hours and then
start the pump again.
¡ If necessary, leave the descaling
solution to work in the bowl
overnight.

7.3 Cleaning the device
