Before you start
Setup
Blade cover
1. Remove the blade cover (16) from the hedge trimmer blade (17) before
operation (Fig. 3).
2. Keep the blade cover (16) safely.
3. The pole hedge trimmer is ready for use.
NOTE: Always attach the blade cover (16) when the product is not
in use, for storage and transportation.
To attach the blade cover (16), align and push the blade cover onto
the hedge trimmer blade (17).
Guide bar cover
1. Remove the guide bar cover (18) from the saw chain (20) and the guide bar
(19) before operation (Fig. 4).
2. Keep the guide bar cover (18) safely.
3. The pole pruner is ready for use.
