For best results, fully charge your CHIPS 2.0 using the TM supplied 3.5 mm to USB charging cable before use.
You can manage/check your CHIPS 2.0 battery by the TM fuel gauge that appears on your smartphone.
The indicator light located on the right ear piece will flash red to indicate a low battery.
Once the CHIPS 2.0 are plugged into the micro-USB, TM the indicator light will turn red. It will turn off once the CHIPS are completely charged.
NOTE: It takes 2.5 hours to give your CHIPS 2.0 a full TM charge.
To pair the CHIPS 2.0 with a Bluetooth - TM enabled device:
Prior to using the OT CHIPS 2.0 for the first time, you will have to pair them with a Bluetooth-enabled device. The pairing procedure may vary for different devices. Please refer to your device's user manual for further information. The general pairing procedure is as follows:
If your Bluetooth device disconnects from the CHIPS 2.0 the voice prompt will state "Your headset is disconnected."
The built-in microphone means that the CHIPS 2.0 can TM be used wirelessly.
*NOTE: The built-in microphone only works when connected via Bluetooth.
The following are tips on how to use your CHIPS 2.0 to TM speak on the telephone:

The included 3.5mm cord allows you to rock out when the CHIPSTM 2.0 are out of power.
Plug the end with the microphone and control wheel into the CHIPSTM 2.0, and into your preferred music playing robotic device. Then proceed to rock out.
*The microphone on the CHIPSTM 2.0 will not function when you're playing music through the 3.5 mm jack. Instead, you'll be able to use the inline mic on the 3.5mm cord.
Once you have turned on and paired your CHIPSTM 2.0 to your smartphone, you will be able to connect to the Walkie-Talkie App.
STAY CONNECTED
WHILE ON THE MOUNTAIN
To use the Walkie-Talkie Function on the mountain with your buds, everyone needs to have the app running on their device. Once everyone has joined a group, all you have to do is press and hold on the Right button till you hear a chirp; then continue to press down on the piece until you are finished talking.
