6.2.2 Connectors of Control ElectroniX 200
RS-232 serial connector:
To connect the BioFluidix Control ElectroniX 200 to the computer, a 9-pin to 9-pin null modem
cable is needed. The RS232 settings are:

Bits per second: 115200 baud
•
Data bits: 8
•
Parity: None
•
Stop bits: 1
•
Flow control (Handshaking): None
•
CR, LF
Power Input:
24VDC power supply input. NOTE: use only one of the power input ports at the same time
Grounding screw:
Intended to earth the case of the device
Connector for valves:
Two 24V switchable connectors for connecting additional valves
LED:
Connector for SmartDrop Camera System
USB-connector
Intended to connect the electronics to the PC
Trigger In:
The input trigger can be used to initiate a dispensing event externally by a 3.3V LVTTL or a 5V
TTL signal for example to enable a synchronous operation with positioning facilities or in
automated measuring rigs.
Trigger Out:
The output trigger can be used to synchronise external devices with the PipeJet
NanoDispenser (for example a camera or other measuring devices). With every dispensing event
an output pulse of 3.3V is generated.
Power toggle switch:
Enables / Disables the power supply of the Control ElectroniX CX200
