^ POSITION Control
For C H 2 , the control provides the same function as
^
P O S I T I O N Control @
tion, the control provides X-axis position adjustment.
In memory scope operation, this control provides D C
O F F S E T adjustment for C H 2 .
@
^ M E M O R Y POSITION Control
With selection of the S A M P L I N G C L O C K B control,
this control adjusts the vertical position of the stored
waveform. For memory operation in X - Y mode, the
control adjusts the X-axis position.
N O T E :
This control does not work for M E M O R Y O U T B @
@
MODE Switch
Selects the operation mode of the vertical axis.
C H 1 :
Only the input signal to channel 1 is displayed
on
the
screen.

N O R M :
C L O C K A is displayed on the screen.
D E L A Y : T h e

C L O C K A and B are displayed as dual traces
on the screen.
C H 2 :
Only the input signal to channel 2 is displayed
on the screen. In memory operation, a dif-
ferent
display is produced on the screen
according to the selection of N O R M / D E L A Y
selector.

screen.
D E L A Y operation will not be produced but
only N O R M operation will be performed even
if

A D D :
T h e algebraic sum of C H 1 and C H 2 signals is
displayed on the screen. When the C H 2 I N V
21 button is engaged, the difference between
C H 1 and C H 2 signals is displayed.
In memory operation, a different display is
produced
according

C H 1 and C H 2 signals (or as the difference
between C H 1 and C H 2 signals when C H 2 I N V
is selected).
X - Y :
The instrument operates as an X - Y oscillo-
scope with C H 1 serving as Y - a x i s and C H 2 as
X-axis.
In memory operation, the waveform stored
with S A M P L I N G C L O C K A is displayed as
Y - a x i s input, and the waveform stored with
S A M P L I N G C L O C K B is displayed as X-axis
input.
The D E L A Y operation will not be produced
but only the N O R M operation will be pro-
duced even if the N O R M / D E L A Y selector is
set to D E L A Y .
J - A L T / m C H O P Selector:
Selects the display mode for two traces in the
D U A L mode.
J L A L T :
C H 1 and C H 2 aignals are alternately display-
ed.
m C H O P :
C H 1 and C H 2 signals are displayed by chop-
ping.
In memory operation, the alternate sweep
mode is automatically selected regardless of
the setting of this selector. Setting to display
the stored waveform on the screen.
N O T E :
Each of the mode setting controls is related to the writing
into memory. See the descriptions on D I S P L A Y M O D E ,
R E F R E S H / P R E T R I G ,
C L O C K A , B , and C U R S O R .
@
CH2 INV Button
Inverts the polarity of C H 2 signal.
@
E X T T R I G Jack
When the S O U R C E control is set to the E X T position,
the sweep is triggered by the input signal fed through
this jack.
@
L E V E L / P U L L S L O P E (-) Control
L E V E L : Adjusts the trigger level, i.e., the point on the
trigger signal waveform slope where the sweep
starts.
P U L L S L O P E :
Adjusts the polarity of the triggering. When
the control is pulled out, the trigger occurs
at the trailing edge of the input waveform.
@
C O U P L I N G Switch
Selects the coupling for the triggering signal.
