11 Official (MOT) test

This selection calls up the official (MOT) test procedure for emissions testing on Petrol, LPG and CNG fuelled
vehicles. The test procedure and limits are determined by the selected vehicle type and production year. (i.e.
catalyst, non-catalyst, visual inspection, etc.).
The test procedure is specified by each different country and the INNOVA 3000 conforms to their Pattern Approval
requirements. Please follow the step by step instructions on the screen until the test sequence completes. The
program has been designed so that either a Pass, or Fail, result is achieved and the test result is printed
automatically.
IMPORTANT!
Before every MOT test there is a HC residue check. Please ensure the sample probe is not inserted
into the vehicle exhaust before the HC residue check is completed otherwise HC residue "lock up" can occur.
After each MOT test, the vehicle data is also stored into a CTR database, on the Computer, as well as being
printed. This database allows the test result data to be rechecked, printed or removed. When F8 Retest is pressed,
a new MOT test is started with the same vehicle data as previously entered.
In the MOT Petrol menu it is possible to repeat the
In Access CTR database it is possible to review
vehicle test without re-entering vehicle details.
Vehicles tested, repeat tests or delete test data.
