The VP9650 is a cabinet MCU. The VP9650 incorporates the chassis, power module, dust filter, fan assemblies, and boards. 3.1 Chassis The VP9650 provides a maximum of one central control board and two service boards, which are inserted into the VP9650 horizontally. The VP9650 provides 1+1 AC or DC power modules. - Page 11 Fan supplied with the power module: dissipates the heat of the power module. The VP9650 fan assembly is located on the right part of the chassis. The fan assembly provides a fan monitoring board, which can generate alarms when faults occur in the fan.

HCCA Board The HEVC Central Control Board A (HCCA) board is the main control board of the VP9650. As the core processing unit of the VP9650, the HCCA board is mandatory. Figure 3-7 shows the board slots.
