ST950 replacement of CPU card Quick Start Guide
The ST950 CPU card replacement requires a number of steps to be successful. Unlike earlier ST controllers there is
no EPROM.
Note:1 Simply moving the Heart and Licences card to the New CPU card will not restore the Configuration.
Pre Requisites
• Spare ST950 CPU card of the correct type:
o
667/1/46010/001
o
667/1/46010/101
• Either:
o Standard Handset 'Oyster', 'Techterm' or similar
o Or Laptop/Netbook with A to B USB cable preconfigured for Web access.
o Or Wi-Fi Dongle and either a Mobile Phone or Tablet PC or Laptop/Netbook

  • Page 2 Further information on fault finding the ST950 can be found in the handbooks. Tip! It is highly recommended that whenever any changes are about to be made to an ST950 controller that a retained restore point is created prior to the change. This creates a point that can be returned to if the changes made turn out to be detrimental, even if the CPU card needs to be replaced.
