The BRODDSON SCANDIA is an elevator street sweeper which is designed to be towed after an ordinary tipper truck. - Page 6 In case of danger, the diesel engine and also all the functions on the sweeper is stopped immediately. The warranty applies to material defects and incorrect work up to a maximum of 1000 operating hours and provided that the prescribed service and maintenance have been performed. Broddson assumes all costs if a design defect is found. Otherwise only compensation is paid wrong part and shipping in one direction. -

- Attach both rubber straps (D) from the conveyor on each side of the flatbed. - Release the handbrake by cranking the handbrake (C) counterclockwise until the brake is released. - For sweepers equipped with air brake, the actuating valve must also be pressed in to release the brake. www.broddson.com... -

For service work when the remote control is not available or if, for example, an electric fault could occur the hydraulic valves are operated manually. -Porportional adjustment of the speed of the conveyor can be made by turning the button on the remote control. By increasing or decreasing the rpm of the conveyor the swept sand can be distributedmore evenly over the tipper body of the towing truck. www.broddson.com... -

HYDRAULIC OIL Broddson SCANDIA has been filled from the factory with 185 liters of hydraulic oil 46. The type of hydraulic oil is indicated on the inside of the control panel door and as well next to the oil filling at the hydraulic oil tank. -

Lift up the side brush. Unscrew the eight bolts (C) from the brush plate (D) Remove all worn tufts from the aluminum segment (A). Insert new tufts in the segment Screw the renewed side brush into the brush plate. www.broddson.com... -

To adjust the tilting angle, first loosen the lock nuts (B) on turnbuckle shaft (C). twist the turnbuckle shaft (C) to left or right, which gives the result that the tilting angle is increased or reduced. Lock the lock nuts (B) when correct angle is adjusted. www.broddson.com... -

- To increase sweeping width = adjust the adjustment nut (B) counter clockwise - To decrease sweeping width = adjust the adjustment nut (B) clockwise NOTE! - Unscrew the adjusting nuts (B) so that the distance between the outer surface of the conveyor and the edge of the rubber mat is equal on both sides. The rubber belt should not be tensioned harder than it has a small slope on the lower side. www.broddson.com... -
