DRIVING TECHNIQUE Starting the engine Make sure there is enough fuel and oil in the vehicle before starting the engine. Starting the engine with an electric starter ● Turn the key to position and check that the low beam and turn signals are working.
Page 21 Starting to drive ● After starting the engine while it is still idling (loose), do not rapidly add gas to avoid overloading the engine. ● When going up a larger hill or with a load on the vehicle, the engine needs more power, so shift to a lower gear before the bike loses power.

Page 28 Adjust or replace valves and set valve lash Wear, incorrect closing or incorrect valve switching causes incomplete fuel combustion. They should be checked and adjusted periodically. If they are visibly worn, replace them with new ones. It is especially important to set the valve lash properly so that it gives a good enough mixture.
