Maintenance

Empty the internal water tank.
1. Close the water inlet valve. Unplug from power supply.
2. Disconnect the drinking fountain from the water inlet allowing
the water to come out.
3. Push the button/pedal/tap or operate the sensor until the water
stops to flow.
4. Plug to power supply.
Recommendations for cleaning and disinfection
Please read the following instructions before sanitising the fountain:

Switch the power off

Turn the mains water off

Empty the water tank by allowing the water to drain out of the taps

Remove the filter and replace with an empty AA First filter housing

Pour the sanitising fluid into the empty filter housing

Turn the mains water back on
 Open the taps to flush the sanitising liquid into the water tank and
pipes

Leave standing for 10 minutes and then flush through with water to
remove all traces of the sanitising solution
 Sanitise in strict accordance with WHA (Water Dispenser & Hydration
Association https://twha.co.uk) guidelines using only tested and
therefore endorsed sanitising product
IMPORTANT:
To clean the stainless steel use only water or glass cleaner.
Do not use other products, such as bleach, which could damage the
surface.
Never use abrasive products to clean the fountain or rags or materials that
may scratch the stainless steel. Never clean the fountain with pressurised
water.
Hygiene
Water is our most important FOOD and water fountains must be
maintained in a hygienic condition. The Water Cooler Associations (WHA)
demands that all makes and types of fountain must be regularly sanitised,
using approved sanitising solutions/techniques.
1. Fountains must be sanitised and the filter exchanged every 6 months
2. All fountains should be sanitised prior to commissioning
