The induction principle
The Tepan plate is heated by induction.
An induction coil is located under the
Tepan plate. When the Tepan plate is
switched on, this coil creates a
magnetic field which impacts directly
on the surface and heats it up.
When the Tepan plate is
switched on either deliberately or by
mistake, or when there is residual
heat present, there is a risk of any
metal items placed on the Tepan
plate heating up.
Danger of burning!
Do not use the Tepan plate as a
resting place for anything else.
Switch the Tepan plate off after use
with the appropriate sensor control.
