Product key This is the product key to activate Epson Open Platform. To acquire this product key, you need the serial numbers of the respective printers. You can find the serial number on the product’s Guarantee Form, or on the label on the rear or side of the product.

Acquiring in bulk 1. Access the following website from the system administrator’s computer. https://openplatform.epson.biz/license-op/inputInformation.html 2. Click Sample under Readable text file and download a sample file for the serial number list. 3. Change the sample file as necessary, and then save the serial number list file.

Connect the USB cable of the authentication device to the service port. Caution: If it is necessary to remove the authentication device case for maintenance and so on, disconnect the authentication device cable before removing the case.

Important: Hold the authentication card over the printer cover and check if it can be read. If it cannot be read, open the printer cover and hold the authentication card over the card reader.
