As rechargeable batteries are used, their chemistry deteriorates over time. Every few years the batteries of the OM500 needs to be replaced. This action is intended to be performed by either a Sierra Wireless technician or by a customer who owns the OM500 devices. It is not intended to be performed by offenders, witnesses, or victims. -
