Do not apply a heavy shock to the oscilloscope.

Do not insert a wire, pin, etc. through the ventilation hole.

Do not drag the set, leaving the probe attached to it.

Do not leave a hot soldering iron on the cabinet or the

Do not try to turn the instrument upside down. Otherwise,

knobs may be broken.
Do not use the instrument upright, leaving BNC cable

connected to EXT BLANKING terminal on the rear panel.
Otherwise, the cable may be damaged.
Handle
The handle of the V- 209
or as a tilt-stand for the instrument. To position the
handle. press in at both pivot points and tum the handle
to the desired position. 15 positions are provided for con­
venient carrying or viewing.
