Maintenance & Cleaning
Battery Replacement
When the batteries need to be
replaced, a low battery icon will
display on the screen. To change
the batteries, follow the steps below.
1.
Slide the battery cover down to
open the battery compartment.
2.
Remove the old batteries and
dispose of them properly.
3.
Insert two (2) new batteries
aligning them with the polarities
shown in the battery compartment.
4.
Slide the battery cover back into
place before powering on the
thermometer.
NOTE:
Remove the batteries if the
thermometer will not be in use for
more than three (3) months.
Cleaning
To clean the thermometer, wipe it
with a dry, soft cloth. If the
thermometer is contaminated, use a
cloth moistened with water and a
mild detergent or clean it with 75%
alcohol.
Take care not to use an excessive amount of liquid when
cleaning the thermometer as liquids can seep into the
electronic parts and cause damage to the thermometer.
Storage
Store in a safe, dry place free from dust and direct sunlight.
Keep this thermometer out of reach of children.
If you are storing the thermometer for more than three (3)
months, remove the batteries and keep the thermometer in
the original packaging.
