  • Page 10 8. Turn off the engine and then check the oil level. Add oil if necessary. FILTER SELECTION All Hyundai engines are equipped with a high quality, disposable oil filter. This filter is recommended as a replacement filter on all vehicles. The quality of replacement filters varies considerably. Only high quality filters should be used to assure the most efficient service.

Remove, drain and reinstall the reservoir. Fill the tank halfway to the MAX mark with water, then up to the MAX mark with antifreeze.

When installing the V-ribbed belt, check that the V-ribs are properly aligned. 2. If noise or slippage is detected, check the belt for wear, damage, or breakage on the pulley contact surface, and check the pulley for scoring.
