IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Before use, please read and follow these instructions carefully, even if you feel you are familiar with the appliance.
They contain important information concerning the operation, safety and maintenance when using the appliance.
Please retain these instructions for future use and reference.
CAUTION
Before commencing any installation or maintenance work, make sure the mains
power supply is isolated.
IMPORTANT
This appliance must be installed in accordance with the IEE wiring regulations and current building
regulations. If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
•
Appliance must not be mounted on a flammable surface
•
Ensure the appliance does not come in contact with any combustible materials
•
Ensure the appliance is level and securely fixed to the wall using minimum 25mm back boxes
•
The appliance should have a minimum air space of 300mm on all sides.
•
Before installation or maintenance, ensure the mains supply is switched off
•
Check that the total load on the circuit including when this appliance is fitted does not exceed the rating of the
circuit cable and circuit breaker.
•
Only install the appliance if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds with the mains voltage.
CARE & CLEANING
1. The appliance should be cleaned regularly.
2. Isolate electricity supply and allow appliance to cool,
wipe with a soft damp cloth. Do not use detergent
or abrasives.
3. Do not scrape the surfaces with sharp hard tools.
DISPOSAL
In accordance with European Directive 2002/96/
EG concerning waste electrical and electronic
equipment (WEEE), please return any electrical
equipment that you will no longer use to the
collection points provided for their disposal.
This symbol indicates that the appliance cannot be treated
as normal domestic waste, but must be handed to a
collection point for where electric and electronic appliances
are recycled.
Information concerning where the equipment can be
disposed of can be obtained from your local authority.
