Always turn off and unplug vacuum cleaner before performing maintenance to the
vacuum cleaner. Failure to do so could result in electrical shock or personal injury.
PROBLEM
Unplugged at wall outlet.

Clogged airflow passages.
Dirty filters.

TROUBLESHOOTING

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Plug in firmly, press On/Off switch.
Reset circuit breaker or replace fuse.
Change bag.
Clear airflow passages.
Clean/change filters.
Adjust control.
Replace hose.
Change floor nozzle.
Close and latch hood.
Check connections, reconnect hose ends.
See THERMAL PROTECTOR (page 16).
Change bag.
Clean/change filters.
Clear blockage from airflow passage.
This is normal. Light should go off when tool is
removed.
