  • Page 27 The CD-ROM drive enables you to read data from a CD or listen to a music CD. The CD-RW drive enables you to read and write data to a disc for storage, and enables you to listen to music CDs or read data CDs.
  • Page 28 A CD-ROM drive reads CDs, CD-R, and CD-RW media. DVD-ROM and DVD-R drives read all CD media plus DVD discs. When you have finished listening to the CD, store the disc in the storage compartment on the front of your computer or in its protective case.
