Changing the Startup Sequence with MultiBoot

When more than one drive is in the system, the computer selects
the drive to start from by searching sequenced locations for, first,
a bootable CD-ROM or DVD-ROM; second, a bootable diskette;
and third, a bootable hard drive.
A bootable device or medium contains files needed by the

computer to start up and operate properly.
The computer can start from
Any bootable hard drive or bootable drive medium, such as a
diskette, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, or disk, in the computer.
Any bootable diskette in the external diskette drive bay.
Any bootable diskette (but not a SuperDisk LS-120 drive
disk) in an optional expansion base.
Any bootable peripheral interconnect (PCI) network adapter
board in the computer.
By default, Phoenix MultiBoot is disabled and the computer
selects the startup device by searching these locations in this
sequence:
1 External diskette drive bay
2 Computer MultiBay
3 Computer hard drive bay
4 Docking base top or right
MultiBay
The availability and location of docking base bays and the
NOTE:
availability and sequencing of docking base PCI slots varies by
model and configuration.
You can change the sequence in which the computer searches for
a startup device by enabling MultiBoot and entering a new startup
sequence. When the computer restarts after your changes and
searches for a startup drive, it will consider only the first drive of
each type. For example, in the default boot order, the computer
will not start from a bootable diskette in an expansion base if a
non-bootable diskette is in the computer MultiBay.
