TROUBLESHOOTING CHART - ALL PUMP TYPES

SYMPTOMS
Detergent fails to mix with spray
Pump doesn't produce pressure
Low Pressure
Machine doesn't reach high pressure Diameter of garden hose is too small
Irregular pressure vibration
CAUSES
Detergent injection hose is not
properly submerged
High pressure nozzle attached
Low pressure nozzle installed
Inadequate water supply
Trigger handle or spray wand leaks
Nozzle is clogged
Air in line
Inlet filter clogged
Pressure relief valve stuck; partially
plugged or improperly adjusted valve
seat worn.
Water supply is restricted
Not enough inlet water pressure
Wrong nozzle is attached
Pump sucking air
Nozzle inadequate or worn
Worn, dirty/blocked valves

REMEDIES
Insert injection hose into detergent
container or detergent bottle
Use black or blue soap nozzle.
Replace with high pressure nozzle
Provide adequate water flow
Check connections and/or replace
trigger handle or spray wand
Clean nozzle
Squeeze trigger on trigger handle to
remove air from line
Remove filter, rinse clean and reinstall
Clean, adjust relief valve; check
for worn and dirty valve seats. Kit
available.
Replace with 5/8 in. or 3/4 in. ID hose
Check garden hose for kinks, leaks
and blockages
Open water source fully, minimum
35 PSI.
Attach the high pressure nozzle
Check that there is no water leaking
as it enters the pump
Clean and/or replace nozzle
Replace check valves
