Calibrating the Active Digitizer Display
In order to ensure accurate tracking between the stylus and cursor, you must run the Calibration Utility
before you use the system for the first time, or after you change the display resolution.

HE FIRST TIME YOU PERFORM A CALIBRATION

WILL REQUIRE ONLY FOUR CALIBRATION POINTS
To run the calibration utility:

Go to Start -> Control Panel.

Click Hardware and Sound, then select Tablet PC Settings

Under the Display tab, click the [Calibrate] button.(Note: If you have the optional capacitive touchscreen, you
will need to click on either Pen input or Touch input, depending upon which method you want to calibrate.)

Adjust the display of your Tablet PC to a comfortable angle and find the (+) symbol in the upper-left corner of
the display.

O NOT USE EXCESSIVE FORCE WHEN TAPPING ON THE SCREEN DURING CALIBRATION
EXCESSIVE FORCE COULD RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE

Depending upon whether you are calibrating pen input or touch input, firmly touch the screen with the stylus or
your finger directly on the (+) symbol. Lift the stylus or your finger from the screen and the target will move to a
different location on the screen.

Repeat step 4 until you have selected all of the (+) symbols.

Once you have selected all the symbols, press the [OK] button.

Touch the stylus or your finger to various points on the screen to verify that the screen is correctly calibrated. If
you are not satisfied with the screen's calibration, press the [Calibrate]) button to begin again.
