Do not lift the rear panel by holding the
auto self clean unit or drive part.
Doing so may cause deformation or damage.

The filter must be removed from the
plastic packaging before operating the
unit.
CAUTION
The vibration during transporting the unit might cause deodoriz-
ing agent granules to fall out from the filter.
When removing the plastic cover of the filter and attaching the
filter to the unit, make sure that your hands, clothes, and the
surroundings will not get dirty.
Wipe of any granules that may have fallen or clung to the filter.
This will not affect the deodorizing performance.

Deodorizing filter
(Washable deodorizing filter)
Set in the inner part of the unit.
Pre-filter
(stainless steel pre-filter*)
Removes large size dust.
*The surface (one side) of the net
has a stainless steel coating.
CAUTION
Auto Self Clean Unit
Automatically cleans the pre-filter.
Dust Filter
Deodorizing Filter (x1)
Filter Assembly Detection Switch
Detects if the filter assembly is set.
CAUTION
Do not place tapes or any materi-
als to press the filter assembly
detection switch, or subject it to
unnecessary force.
It may not be able to detect the
filter and may cause unit failure.
Auto Self Clean Unit Detection Switch
Detects if the auto self clean unit is set.
Rotates during auto self clean
operation.
Do not touch the drive shaft.
Doing so may cause injury.
Rear Panel Detection Switch
Detects if the rear panel is attached.
