Ultrasonic vibrations are similar to audible sound, but the frequencies used are generally above a level that can be heard (>18 kHz). Since sound is a compression wave, the action of this high frequency energy in a liquid may be considered as the rapid generation and violent collapse of minute bubbles. -

This knob controls the sweep rate of the generator. The ideal sweet rate depends on the cleaning job, but 300 Hz, or fully counter-clockwise, is typically recommended as a starting point. Detergents that are used in this ultrasonic cleaning system must be compatible with 304 and 316L stainless steel. You will void the warranty if chemical attack to the stainless steel occurs.
- Page 12 NOTE: When first learning the capabilities of this system, do no leave items unattended in the tank for long periods. The system may damage the object if it remains in the ultrasonic tank for extended periods of time. Longer cleaning times can be used after thorough testing has been completed.
