The banging sound during the spin cycle of an LG WM4270HVA washer can usually be fixed. It may be caused by an unbalanced load or overloading. Stop the cycle and rearrange the load to balance it. If the sound persists, check for foreign objects in the tub or drain filter. Also, make sure the shipping bolts were removed during installation. If none of these fix the issue, unplug the washer and contact LG service. A new washer is not required.
