    • Touch to return to the previous screen or exit the application you are running. • Touch to hide the keyboard. Inserting a SIM card To install a SIM card, perform the operations shown in the following figures. Remove the battery cover. Insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot with its metal contacts facing down.

    Installing the battery To install the battery, perform the operations shown in the following figures. Align the battery's metal contacts with those at the bottom of the battery compartment (refer to position a in the preceding figure). Press the other end of the battery (position b in the preceding figure) against your phone to fix it to the battery compartment.

Gestures Touch: Touch to select an item or open an application. Touch and hold: Touch and leave your finger on the screen for 2 seconds or longer.

    Copying contacts On the home screen, touch > People. On the People screen, touch Touch Manage contacts > Copy contacts. From the displayed option menu, select where the contacts you wish to copy are from. Touch the contact you wish to copy or touch Select all to select all contacts.

    Creating and Sending a Multimedia Message You can use multimedia messages to make everyday communications very special. You can record a message and send it as an audio file, for example, sing "Happy Birthday" and send it to a friend, or send a slideshow of photographs of a special event.

    Choose the Wi-Fi network you wish to access and touch Connect. For an encrypted Wi-Fi network, enter the password when prompted. If Wi-Fi and mobile data are both enabled, your phone connects to the Wi-Fi network preferentially. When Wi-Fi becomes unavailable, your phone automatically switches to the mobile data connection.

    Uninstalling an Application You cannot uninstall the applications that are pre-installed on the system. On the home screen, touch > Settings and then the All tab. Touch Manage apps Touch an application, and then touch Uninstall. Opening Your Camera You can take and share photos using the camera. Your camera supports multiple capture modes and photo effects.
